DelmarvaOnline, LLC has many roots. Our parent company, Draper Communications, Inc. was founded in 1967 by its owner and current President, Mr. Thomas Draper. Mr. Draper began his interest in the industry as a radio broadcaster in Milford, Delaware. In 1980, Draper Communications purchased the assets of WBOC-TV.

WBOC-TV was originally founded in 1954 and has established itself as "Delmarva's News Leader." For almost fifty years, WBOC-TV has been the premier source of information in the region.

Founded in June of 1995, DelmarvaOnline benefits from a media/communications corporate heritage going back 50 years on the Eastern Shore.
